This is one of my favorite pieces that you’ve written all year, Mountain Man! Wow. The effort you put into your descriptive language really paid off, bringing the wilderness alive in my mind. I loved the words you chose, like “sheer”, “lumbering”, “frosty”, and “silence-shattering”. I can’t wait to read another of your nature pieces soon!
